South African Singer, HLE Releases New Single “Dwala” | @HleLive | Straight off her collaboration with Benjamin Dube; singer, songwriter and former Joyous Celebration lead singer HLE, also known to many as Hlengiwe Ntombela, released her brand new single ‘Dwala’ this past Friday and the song went straight to number one on the iTunes charts, this amid some major releases from some of the country’s leading artists. Straight off her collaboration with Benjamin Dube; singer, songwriter and former Joyous Celebration lead singer HLE, also known to many as Hlengiwe Ntombela, released her brand new single ‘Dwala’ this past
Friday and the song went straight to number one on the iTunes charts, this amid some major releases from some of the country’s leading artists. A difficult feat for any artist but more so a new and emerging one but
HLE defied the odds.

“Dwala”, is a beautifully arranged song with an infectious melody and chorus that finds HLE showing her pitch perfect voice and joyfully praising the rock of her salvation, the Lord.

As the daughter of a bishop, HLE grew up surrounded by praise and worship in Kwa-Zulu Natal. “Worship is like oxygen to me” she says, before humbling herself as servant whose mission it is to spread the gospel.
Talking of her #1 reign on iTunes “I’m still overwhelmed. It’s special when you realize that the people you serve appreciate the craft as much as you do”.
