Speaking with us about the Tour, she said “Technically, it’s my first time touring Nigeria. I say “technically” because I was here in 2014 briefly with my husband Seyi Alesh on his quiet tour at the time, but I simply came along with our newborn son Isaac. Nigeria is my first home and I have a heart to share the love of Jesus with my own people in the ways I’ve received it. Some people have heard of Tomi Favored, especially knowing I’m Seyi Alesh’s wife, but they don’t know me personally, or all I stand for, so I wanted to make it an opportunity to relate with people who can vibe with me here in Nigeria. With this tour, I’d really love to achieve having God’s name glorified in my name. Like, I’d love people to recognize the name Tomi Favored, associate it with my sound, and then say, “wow, God spoke to my heart when she opened her mouth.” Either to sing or speak”. She went further to say that, fans can expect another visit to Nigeria very soon simply because “I have had several invitations to locations I unfortunately couldn’t accommodate on this tour. They can expect more songs from me as always. I love writing and sharing the gospel and encouragement through my songs.
