Imprint Music is thrilled to announce the release of the Uchenna’s latest single ‘Let you be’ featuring Duane Caleb who is also from the imprint music label. ‘Let you be’ is available on all music streaming platforms from the 23rd October 2020 with a jaw dropping music video to follow.
‘Let you be’ has been highly anticipated by both fanbases and is set to be an autumn/winter favorite, within the UK gospel scene. The song is refreshingly appropriate for the current times, and boasts of its encouraging, uplifting yet simple lyrics that remind listeners to remain hopeful and trust in God during times of despair and confusion. The classic R&B and Soul sound of ‘Let you be’ is promised to redirect your mind from the bad news in our world, to the good news of God.
Uchenna joined the label in 2017 and is one to watch in the UK Christian scene. Both her and Duane Caleb being from the same label makes this song all the more special, Uchenna says ‘Bringing this song to Duane and having him understand my perception of things, has been great. It’s been a blessing to have him on the song with me’.
Whilst speaking to Uchenna she describes ‘let you be’ as a declaration.
“2020 has been a tough year for me and many others. Not only did I have to trust him to provide, I had to remind myself that he is the creator of my life and I am not in control – I have to let him be God. There were days when all I needed was a word from God, to reassure me that everything will be alright. Even now, with all the injustice happening globally, we have to let him be God and know that he will be glorified at the end of everything”.
Samuel – the photographer/videographer from the ‘Imprint music’ team had a chance to listen before the release and he said, “This is my type of music, this is WORSHIP, I’m excited for this one”.

Biography
Uchenna is a UK born gospel singer, songwriter and worship leader living in Essex, who started singing at just age 10. She joined her church choir from an early age and began leading and directing her church youth choir. With a diploma in music performance and she has overseen various choirs such as her secondary school gospel choir and her university gospel choir Leicester University Voices. She has had the pleasure of being a backing vocalist for many respected Gospel artists such as; Tim Bowman Jnr, Michelle Williams and many more. In recent years she has also opened up for Todd Galberth at his recent London concert.
Uchenna grew up in a Christian home and has been an active member of her home church KICC London for a long time. Uchenna grew up listening to artists such as Cece Winans, Whitney Houston and Fred Hammond who are some of her major influencers among many others. She skilfully blends her love for Gospel, R&B and soul music making her sound distinctive in the UK gospel industry. She is motivated by her love for music and her journey with God. She tells her story about struggling with depression and suicide for many years and how God transformed her life. She aims to talk about her faith through her music.
