French-based emerging Nigerian gospel artiste, singer and songwriter Chioma Ibuoka who’s a French linguist by profession makes her introduction into the music industry with this beautiful debut single titled “By His Stripes”.
Her debut single is a song beautifully laced with the message about the divine healing God has made available for us through the death and resurrection Jesus for the remission of our sins.
This song is scripture inspired and its inspiration is recorded in Isaiah 53:5 “but He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; with HIS STRIPES we are healed (KJV)”.
As we celebrate Easter, this song is a timely reminder of what Jesus accomplished for us at the cross. By His stripes we are redeemed, by His stripes we are forgiven and by His stripes we are healed. Amen!
