Newcastle bred and Johannesburg-based singer and songwriter Irene Hlubi has released a new single titled “LIVING GOD.” The alto vocalist launched her single on the 1st of July 2021 and the launch was broadcast live on multiple online platforms.
Not only is the contemporary mid-tempo worship song easy to sing along to, but it also makes one reflect on how great and powerful God is. The lyrics of the song say “there’s nothing in this world God cannot do” and this is based on Irene Hlubi’s life experiences which are a testimony of how God can transform a life once committed to His calling.
The idea to launch in form of a Facebook/YouTube broadcast took consideration of the current Covid-19 limitations. During the launch, the humble singer performed the song and also let us in on some parts of her life through a live interview conducted by presenter and actress Ondela Mama.
