Contemporary Gospel Artist ARI WILLIAMS Schedules Debut CD “Concrete Gardens” for May 5th, 2018 Release | @adubwrites | New artist, Ari Williams, is ready to change the game and gospel sound with her new project Concrete Gardens. With a sound that is a mix of R&B, traditional gospel, trap, and southern hip hop, Ari is ready to introduce the world to her story with a unique sound and honest message. Born in Palo Alto, CA and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, Ari’s soft voice is ready to deliver a big message. Concrete Gardens is a 15-song project that was inspired by her many life experiences such as being raised by a single mom, family issues, and personal inadequacies. After deciding to seriously pursue a music career in December 2015 after singing at church all her life, Ari has spent the past year and a half crafting her debut album, with the intent of showing that a relationship with Christ is great, but still has its up and downs. “My whole purpose for creating this album is to show people the daily struggles that you go through while trying your best to walk with Christ. Some days, it’s not all ‘Thank You Jesus’ but sometimes, it’s ‘God, why am I going through this, can you help me, I don’t see you, I don’t understand why I am going through this,’ all of that.” Addressing faith in songs such as “Fragile,” and “I Know,” to talking about feelings of being lost in “Flying Blind,” to songs of love with “Ready For You,” and “I’m Committed To You,” Ari touches on everything. “It was really important for me to open up as much as I could with this project. I wanted to talk about marriage, God’s love, being lost, everything because, in your walk, everything constantly gets challenged, and being with Christ doesn’t stop those thoughts or challenges from happening.” Having already sung backgrounds for Grammy nominated and Stellar Award-winning artist Byron Cage, and young up and coming Christian Artist Yung Prince, Ari is excited for her next single, “Your Great Name,” and the potential of Concrete Gardens. “The title, Concrete Gardens, goes hand in hand with my life story. Nothing is supposed to grow from, or out of, concrete because the environment isn’t conducive for growth; that’s how I feel my life was set up to be. However, with God’s help, I’ve grown and blossomed despite those circumstances. I really hope people take in my music, and it heals and encourages them through my transparency and story.” Concrete Gardens is set to be released May 5th, 2018 on all digital outlets.
