Worship Leader bigDan McDon Set to Release His Debut Album “First Fruit Collection” | @bigDANMcDon | Following his long silence in the industry, Gospel music minister bigDan McDon is set to drop his first album since his entrance into the industry in 2012; the same year in which he founded The Project Salt Group. Apparently, the silence was spent behind closed doors working on the 12 songs featured on this album. The album titled “First Fruit Collection” will be officially released on the 12th of May 2018 and it will feature the likes of Laolu Oni, Kenny Kore and Efe Nathan. All 12 songs were produced and mixed at the Mustard Breed Studios by Ajo Segigo, Bright Real and bigDan McDon. Born in Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Lagos Nigeria, popularly called Ajegunle, bigDan McDon was raise as the last child of Mr and Mrs Nnaji. At a young age he fell in love with music and the art of teaching. Being the last child by five years with siblings all in boarding school, he would usually spend his afternoons after school home alone delivering musical performances and powerful sermons to an imaginary multitude of people. Today, he is an established Art Director, Lyricist, recording and performing artist, a Teacher on Spiritual truths and a Consultant. He is currently the Team Lead of The Project Salt Group. McDon has always been distinguished by his unique sound which he calls spirit music . It is characterized by a soft subtle tone accompanied by afrocentric instrumentations which set the mood for his usual message of hope and healing. bigDan has fielded nominations and awards in the world of creative arts with musical works, stage plays, profound articles, sermons and teachings to his belt. His unique kind of music has singled him out, giving him the privilege to work with fellow distinguished artistes in and out of the studio as well as on and off stage. They include, Sammie Okposo, Mike Abdul, Wole Oni, Kenny Kore, Kennedy Ogeleka, Efe Nathan, Eben, Patricia King, Floroka , Gamie; to mention a few.
