Born Anesu Gwata in Harare, Zimbabwe this upcoming Zimbabwean artist Crusader started making music in 2013, producing his first mixtape later that year called Recovery.
He later released his first EP entitled Blacklisted in 2014 which featured the likes of Courtney Antipas of Zimbabwe and Tony Grammz of Zambia. Within the same year, he was part of an EP which included contemporary gospel music as well as hip-hop entitled King Of All Ages. There after he has released a number of singles which include”Lighthouse” and “Get behind me Satan” which were featured on the popular Christian Hip Hop website Rapzilla.
He is back with yet another single entitled “Champion” that seeks to encourage the marginalized, the outcasts, those overlooked and pinned as underdogs. It’s a song that inspires those striving to become the best version of themselves.
