Uzonna who became popular as a political reporter with Silverbird Television, Lagos, is now the Executive Editor, News at Nigeria’s biggest independent news channel, TVC News. He says that the world is in a desperate need for God’s intervention as the Corona Virus sweeps through the length and breadth of the globe. “It is fine to be expectant about the so-called vaccine, but if God does not intervene, the whole hope will be dashed. Remember that except the Lord builds, the builders simply labour in vain and if the Almighty does not watch over a city, the watchmen keep awake for nothing. “See how the virus has turned the world around. Close to a million persons have died and no country is insulated. No class, colour or creed is spared. We are really in dire need of God right now,” he said.
