LYRICS
Verse 1:
In my works
In my strength
In my Pain
Is where I stood
Up today
Down, next day
That’s how I lived
And through the pain
I struggled on
To find the light
I’ll hold on to
[I] was never safe
Down in the dark
That’s how I lived

Verse 2:
Raging storms
Now appear
To pull me down
And get me lost
In this world without you
I’m alone
Then you came
And spoke a word
To my heart
And I felt life
In my heart
Down in my soul
I felt you

Chorus:
It’s your word I held onto
That’s what brought me to the light
Now there’s hope, now there’s peace
In my heart (In my heart)
Now I can sing for Joy
I can shout for Joy
Cause Your word has brought this hope
To my soul

Bridge:
Peace, Peace
Peace I found you
Joy, Joy
Joy I found you
Light, Light
Your light you shine on us
Life, Life
Life, I found you

Chorus:
It’s your word I held onto
That’s what brought me to the light
Now there’s hope, now there’s peace
In my heart
Now I can sing for Joy
I can shout for Joy
Cause Your word has brought this hope
To my soul
Now I can sing for Joy
I can shout for Joy
Cause Your word has brought this hope
To my soul.
