Throughout my career, I have focused on the dreams that were given to me by God. I am realizing more and more that there is way more to life than just dreaming. This song reflects the mantra that I have tried to live by for a while . . Sleep No More. In other words, dreaming gets your no where by itself. It is time to wake up the dreamers.
The hook is a throw back to the feeling a lot of creatives deal with throughout their career. Many times, we feel like everyone around is trying to kill our dreams. Whether its our family, friends, or even just peers, it can feel like we have forces working against us. End of the day, it is our responsibility to wake up and walk out the dreams that we have been given.
