Manchester’s Christian soulful folk singer, Emma Mould Challenges Perspectives with New Single ‘Eve’s Song’ | @EmMould | Based on the controversial female biblical character – ‘Eve’, Emma explores depth of love Jesus would still have for someone whose actions scarred the destiny of the entire human race. The single hails the release of Emma’s third album this Autumn. The album is a compilation of songs written to challenge the listener’s ideas of love, be the forgotten voice of women, and share Emma’s story. Eve’s Song is a moving guitar driven folk-meets-soft rock-meets-soul production which takes the listener on an emotional roller coaster from start to end. Emma’s songwriting prowess really shines through as she tells a story of the loyal and unrelenting love of Jesus Christ in a poetic yet powerful way. Produced by Manchester-based Dan Stirling, Eve’s Song has a sense of urgency and passion which has cleverly been combined with a captivating tenderness. The mother of 2 who has been through what she describes as “tough times” in her life says: ‘Music is my expression. It’s how I tell stories and talk about the things I really care about. I hope that it connects with people who feel like they can relate to the sense of vulnerability and the peace I find in the Lord. It’s all about making music that touches people in various stages in their lives.” Often compared to the likes of Adele and Tracey Chapman, Emma Mould has been singing professionally since 2015 and has never looked back. She has since played at various venues across the city and has contributed on BBC Radio. Eve’s Song will be available to download and stream on all major outlets including Spotify, Itunes, Google Play and others.
