The birth of Eseoghene Aduh to the family of William Henslope Ochuko Onakpoya of blessed memory and Elizabeth Aruoture Onakpoya was on a Christmas day, the 25th day of December at the Eku Baptist Hospital, Eku. The hospital was then owned and managed by missionaries. The Baptist missionaries recognising her as a unique child presented her with the gift of a Holy Bible seeing she also shared same birth day with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her parents, both educationists and their discipline and love helped shape her early in life. They remained role models and taught her to be content and serve God faithfully. Though she got to know God early in life, the Lord positioned several landmark experiences that have influenced her knowing God better. Bishop Great and Rev Mrs Ufuoma Omasheye of the Holy Ghost Dominion Bible Church, were used by God to challenge her to serve and be committed in the things of God. While in the university, she served God actively with the Pentecostal fellowship of Madonna University. She grew up in the oil-rich city of Warri, which is located in Delta State in the Niger-Delta area, in the South-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. She attended the prestigious Nana Primary School and secondary education in College of Education Demonstration Secondary School, Warri. Ese Aduh graduated in 2006 from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science at the Madonna University, Okija, Anambra in the Elele campus located in Rivers State. Her passion for self-development and education made her proceed to study law at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). The distance- learning opportunity offered by NOUN gave her this vista to be member of two prestigious professional group, a Lawyer and a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Having tasted the opportunity offered by distance learning, she went on study for the Master of Public Health at the Texila American University, located in Guyana, South America. She got married in 2005 to a man of God who also is a medical doctor, Ufuoma Aduh and the Lord has blessed their union with five lovely children. Her dearly beloved husband has become her life coach and modelled her to learn to keep her spiritual walk right with God. Following marriage, she served as a song minister in Christ’s Missionaries’ Crusaders’ Church International Hqtrs, Ekpan headed by Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa. According to Ese, her latest single “I Worship You” is born out of a strong desire to worship. Psalm 95v6. “The Inspiration was from my strong desire to have a closer walk with the Holy Spirit, and realizing that He is all we need in these trying times”, she said.
