It is definitely not your traditional gospel sound. “In Theory” is a pure proclamation that encourages people to pick themselves up from their downcast state and trust in God. Through everything, He is the only consistent thing. The clear intention is to realign people, uplift people

Grace spoke on the message behind the song: “The ultimate goal is to reinstate and reaffirm to those that need reminding that even in those difficult moments, the truth of who God is and the truth of everything we are in Christ will never lose its power to save, heal and transform; that the revelation of Him will ALWAYS be the greatest truth and the greater power”
Grace is especially known for her smooth, out of the box sound and that is very present in this debut offering.

About Grace Tena
Grace Tena is a Singer/ Songwriter who started off as 1/3 of 3YG “3 young gifts” They instantly became YouTube sensations at a young age with song covers and harmony arrangements that took the UK by storm. Born
into a family of singers, writers and musicians, Grace Tena naturally
developed a strong musical inclination. She took inspiration from her
father who like her is a singer song/writer known for his cultural music
and guitar playing.
Drawing inspiration from her Father, she began singing at the age of 8, raised in the church and gained experience participating in children’s choir, then proceeding in early teens years to be in her group 3YG. Grace learned to play the trumpet during her primary school years, sharpening her musicality with sheet music but she also realised she had a natural flair for learning to sing by ear which eventually strengthened her musically. Tena started out doing little acapella videos for her friends and family on Instagram and instantly became a household name.
She is sold out to Christ and using her gift for the kingdom is at the top of
her agenda as she believes that God has mandated her to share the honest
realities of her journey through faith with every listener, yet still ensuring
that all those who listen are pointed to the truth of the Lord and His
goodness and love, above all else.
She is heavily influenced by Jonathan McReynolds, Elevation Worship, Tori
Kelly, Jacob Collier and Currently, serves as a worship leader in her local
church. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work on various
musical projects with artists across the UK. and share the stage with Christian/Gospel singer songwriters based in the UK and USA.
As she journeys through life, creating, writing and developing her sound.
